Today was pretty cool, I reorganized my room, and stuff which now makes
it look a whole lot better than before. I set up my star lamp, which is
shaped like a star and has little star-shaped holes on it and you put a
lightbulb in the middle and it has this cool shillouette-effect
thingy.. it's kinda wierd explaining what it looks like, but if you saw
it you'd think it was pretty cool.. here's a picture, in fact it look
exactly like the one I got in my room only I got mine in Hawaii ohhhhh YEAH!!! http://www.outonawhimproductions.com/images/starlamp_slhor.jpg
Hawaii is mega-awesome, you should go there if you haven't already
because it is soooo worth it! It's also really fun if you have ohana
there . I can't wait till spring break.. it's gonna be soo much fun!
I'm going to Viva Las Vegas!!!! W00T! Sure
I'm well aways from the proper legal gambling age, but there's got to
be more to Vegas than gambling. speaking of which, Sader Hawkins dance
is coming up.. I don't know if I'll ask anyone but I've been thinking
it over a little. I probably only mentioned it since the theme of the
dance is Las Vegas. We might go to LA for a little bit before we go to
Vegas so that should be fun, because despite LA's sickening number of
people who all act, and dress the same, the smoggy air, and horrible
traffic, there are quite a few things to look forward to. There's
Disneyland, Universal Studios, and best of all, familia!I happen to
have quite a few relatives living in LA so it's nice to visit them
every-so-often. LA is nice, I don't have anything against it, but
Portland is nice sometimes.. the simple fact that there's no sales tax
in Oregon is a definite plus for shopping time. Downtown Portland
especially proves an interesting journey. One time I went downtown with
my bro and my sis, and we were walking across the street and then some
guy stops and bends over a manhole and says " This is no safe place for
little Norwegians such as yourself to be". my bro and I turned around and were like " WTF?"
Yep..Portlandia has its "colorful" characters alright...hehe
Powell's bookstore is also a very awesome bookstore. That place has
everything there. Did I mention that one time I bumped into my history
teacher there ? scary stuff.. there's
also a neat gelato place somewhere nearby there..[gelato is Italian
ice-cream like stuff. A bad description on my part, yes, but just try
that stuff it's REALLY good] I guess I'll write more later, my room is
still kinda messy. I bumped into some old history notecards that I
made. I'm going to keep them and sell them to desperate freshmen next
year hehe.. make a lot of money that way.. so I've got to finish cleaning my room right now but I'll write something tomorrow.
Ciao!

Today wasn't particulary exciting. I woke up, did my homework, checked
my e-mail [ which I now wonder why I do anyway, since all I get are
dumb chain letters from my parents ]
Yesterday was a really bad day for me, I couldn't finish my typing on
time, which made me late for PE, which I had a test for but didnt study
for, so I know I bombed that. Then I had a math test and then i go into
coughing fits[ I have a cold ] and I barely finish my test because of some winter sports
assembly
*sigh* what a sad world. At
least I got to go to my friend's birthday party, which made things a
whole lot better but it made me realize some things at the same time.
Before graduation, I thought I'd be able to handle not having my
friends around. It seemed so easy to make new friends and just adjust
to
things being different. Man, was I wrong. It was so awesome to see my
friends again, but it just made me realize how much I've missed them. I
haven't seen some of them in months, sad thing is that i don't want
another 3 or 4 months to go by before I see them again.
Time is passing by so quickly it's insane .. just yesterday it was
Christmas and now it's Easter season? My head keeps spinning at the
thought. Next week is forecasting. I'm thinking next year is
going to be a whole lot tougher..at least I'm not in pre-cal or
anything like that.
Sometimes I really wish I was in college. It seems so much better to
choose your classes rather than to be "force-fed" knowledge. A person
can also learn much better when they learn something they're interested
in. Anyway I bet
I'm starting to get boring, complaining about so many things and
such..so I'll leave it at that. -___-
Right now I have Lost in the Plot by The Dears stuck in my head, which
is a really good song, so listen to it if you just happen to get a
chance.
